Vulnerability details

The vulnerability allows a local user to cause a denial of service.

The vulnerability exists due to division by zero in damos_quota_score() in the DAMON_SAMPLE_MTIER module when handling zero node0_mem_used_bp or node0_mem_free_bp parameter values during module configuration. A local user can set a zero target value and enable the module to cause a denial of service.

The issue can be triggered through sysfs parameter writes before enabling the sample module.
