Vulnerability details
The vulnerability allows a local user to read out-of-bounds memory.
The vulnerability exists due to an out-of-bounds read in ntfs_attr_find_in_attrdef() when processing an NTFS volume with a $AttrDef table smaller than an attr_def entry. A local user can create a file on the mounted volume to read out-of-bounds memory.
