Vulnerability details
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to cause a denial of service through unexpected tool termination.
The vulnerability exists due to an out-of-bounds read in otool when parsing a maliciously crafted binary. A remote attacker can induce a victim to process a crafted binary with otool to trigger unexpected tool termination.
