Detailed vulnerability description

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

The vulnerability exists due to the missing header count functionality in the "http_header_comp()" function. A remote attacker can transmit more headers than accepted by nhttpd, trigger memory corruption and cause a denial of service on the target system.
