Vulnerability details

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on the target system.

The vulnerability exists due to a boundary error in A heap-based buffer overflow in the vrend_renderer_transfer_write_iov function in vrend_renderer.c in virglrenderer through 0.8.0. A remote attacker can use VIRGL_CCMD_RESOURCE_INLINE_WRITE commands. to trigger heap-based buffer overflow and execute arbitrary code on the target system.

Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may result in complete compromise of vulnerable system.
