Description
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to cause a memory corruption on the target system.
The vulnerability exists due to boundary error in Symantec Antivirus scan engine. A remote unauthenticated attacker can cause a remote memory corruption by sending a specially crafted archive to vulnerable server.
Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may result in complete compromise of vulnerable system.

Remediation
Updates to resolve these issues can be installed using product update functionality.
