1) Memory corruption (CVE-ID: CVE-2016-2207)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to cause a memory corruption on the target system.The vulnerability exists due to boundary error in Symantec Antivirus scan engine. A remote unauthenticated attacker can cause a remote memory corruption by sending a specially crafted archive to vulnerable server.
Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may result in complete compromise of vulnerable system.
