Detailed vulnerability description

The vulnerability allows a local user to gain access to sensitive information.

The vulnerability exists due to information exposure error within the vmw_gb_surface_define_ioctl() function in drivers/gpu/drm/vmwgfx/vmwgfx_surface.c. A local user can gain access to sensitive information.
