Detailed vulnerability description

The vulnerability allows a local user to escalate privileges on the system.

The vulnerability exists due to memory corruption within the iucv_setmask_mp() and iucv_cpu_online() functions in net/iucv/iucv.c. A local user can escalate privileges on the system.
