Description
This security bulletin contains information about 4 secuirty vulnerabilities.
1) Race condition (CVE-ID: N/A)
The vulnerability allows a local user to gain access to sensitive information.
The vulnerability exists due to a race condition in view interfaces. A local user can exploit the race and gain unauthorized access to sensitive information.
2) Resource exhaustion (CVE-ID: N/A)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
The vulnerability exists due to application does not properly control consumption of internal resources. A remote attacker can trigger CPU resource exhaustion and perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
3) Cross-site request forgery (CVE-ID: N/A)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform cross-site request forgery attacks.
The vulnerability exists due to insufficient validation of the HTTP request origin when POSTing JSON. A remote attacker can trick the victim to visit a specially crafted web page and perform arbitrary actions on behalf of the victim on the vulnerable website.
4) Use-after-free (CVE-ID: N/A)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to compromise vulnerable system.
The vulnerability exists due to a use-after-free error on HTTP dissected last_url. A remote attacker can send specially crafted HTTP request to the application, trigger a heap-based buffer overflow and crash the application or execute arbitrary code on the system.
Successful exploitation of the vulnerability may allow an attacker to compromise vulnerable system.
