The vulnerability allows a local user to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

The vulnerability exists due to a NULL pointer dereference error within the ef100_update_stats() function in drivers/net/ethernet/sfc/ef100_nic.c. A local user can perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

Successful exploitation of vulnerability may allow an attacker to poison HTTP cache and perform phishing attacks.
