This security bulletin contains information about 2 secuirty vulnerabilities.


1) NULL pointer dereference (CVE-ID: CVE-2024-24989)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

The vulnerability exists due to a NULL pointer dereference error within the HTTP/3 QUIC experimental module. A remote attacker can send specially crafted requests to the web server and perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.


2) Use-after-free (CVE-ID: CVE-2024-24990)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

The vulnerability exists due to a use-after-free error within the HTTP/3 QUIC experimental module. A remote attacker can send specially crafted requests to the web server and preform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
