DescriptionThe vulnerability allows a remote attacker to obtain potentially sensitive information on the target system.
The weakness exists in the Policy and Charging Rules Function (PCRF) of the Cisco Policy Suite (CPS) due to ncorrect permissions of certain system files and not sufficiently protecting sensitive data that is at rest. A remote attacker can use certain tools available on the internal network interface to request and view system files that can be used to conduct additional reconnaissance attacks.
