Description

This security bulletin contains information about 11 secuirty vulnerabilities.

1) Improper input validation (CVE-ID: CVE-2019-3015)

The vulnerability allows a remote authenticated user to gain access to sensitive information.

The vulnerability exists due to improper input validation within the Integration Broker component in PeopleSoft Enterprise PeopleTools. A remote authenticated user can exploit this vulnerability to gain access to sensitive information.

2) Improper input validation (CVE-ID: CVE-2019-3023)

The vulnerability allows a remote non-authenticated attacker to manipulate data.

The vulnerability exists due to improper input validation within the Stylesheet component in PeopleSoft Enterprise PeopleTools. A remote non-authenticated attacker can exploit this vulnerability to manipulate data.

3) Prototype pollution (CVE-ID: CVE-2019-11358)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary JavaScript code.

The vulnerability exists due to improper input validation. A remote attacker can pass specially crafted input to the application and perform prototype pollution, which can result in information disclosure or data manipulation.

4) Improper input validation (CVE-ID: CVE-2019-2931)

The vulnerability allows a remote non-authenticated attacker to read and manipulate data.

The vulnerability exists due to improper input validation within the Portal component in PeopleSoft Enterprise PeopleTools. A remote non-authenticated attacker can exploit this vulnerability to read and manipulate data.

5) Improper input validation (CVE-ID: CVE-2019-2929)

The vulnerability allows a remote non-authenticated attacker to read and manipulate data.

The vulnerability exists due to improper input validation within the Portal component in PeopleSoft Enterprise PeopleTools. A remote non-authenticated attacker can exploit this vulnerability to read and manipulate data.

6) Improper input validation (CVE-ID: CVE-2019-3014)

The vulnerability allows a remote non-authenticated attacker to read and manipulate data.

The vulnerability exists due to improper input validation within the Performance Monitor component in PeopleSoft Enterprise PeopleTools. A remote non-authenticated attacker can exploit this vulnerability to read and manipulate data.

7) Improper input validation (CVE-ID: CVE-2019-2985)

The vulnerability allows a remote non-authenticated attacker to read and manipulate data.

The vulnerability exists due to improper input validation within the Fluid Core component in PeopleSoft Enterprise PeopleTools. A remote non-authenticated attacker can exploit this vulnerability to read and manipulate data.

8) Improper input validation (CVE-ID: CVE-2019-2915)

The vulnerability allows a remote non-authenticated attacker to read and manipulate data.

The vulnerability exists due to improper input validation within the Fluid Core component in PeopleSoft Enterprise PeopleTools. A remote non-authenticated attacker can exploit this vulnerability to read and manipulate data.

9) Improper input validation (CVE-ID: CVE-2019-2932)

The vulnerability allows a remote authenticated user to gain access to sensitive information.

The vulnerability exists due to improper input validation within the Tree Manager component in PeopleSoft Enterprise PeopleTools. A remote authenticated user can exploit this vulnerability to gain access to sensitive information.

10) Out-of-bounds read (CVE-ID: CVE-2019-3862)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to gain access to potentially sensitive information or perform denial of service (DoS) attack.

The vulnerability exists due to a boundary condition when SSH_MSG_CHANNEL_REQUEST packets with an exit status message and no payload are parsed. A remote attacker can trick the victim to connect to a malicious SSH server, trigger out of bounds read and gain access to sensitive information or perform denial of service attack.

11) Memory corruption (CVE-ID: CVE-2016-0729)

The vulnerability allows a remote authenticated attacker to cause DoS condition on the target system.

The weakness exists in the Apache Xerces-C XML Parser library due to improper bounds checking during processing and error reporting. A remote attacker can send a specially crafted input documents and cause the library to crash or possibly execute arbitrary code.

Successful exploitation of the vulnerability results in denial of service.
