Description

The vulnerability allows a local user to gain access to potentially sensitive information.

The vulnerability exists due to FortiClient for macOS displays password in clear-text when establishing connection with an SSL VPN Gateway. A local user with access to console window can obtain login and password used to connect to a remote SSL VPN Gateway.

Mitigation

Update the FortiClient for macOS to version 6.2.1 or 6.0.8.
