Description
This security bulletin contains information about 7 secuirty vulnerabilities.
1) Use-after-free (CVE-ID: CVE-2020-9084)
The vulnerability allows a local user to compromise vulnerable system.
The vulnerability exists due to a use-after-free error. A local administrator can obtain a higher privilege and compromise the service.
Successful exploitation of the vulnerability may allow an attacker to compromise vulnerable system.
2) Use-after-free (CVE-ID: CVE-2020-9105)
The vulnerability allows a local user to escalate privileges on the system.
The
vulnerability exists due to use-after-free error. A local administrator can
trigger memory corruption and escalate privileges on the target device.
3) Out-of-bounds read (CVE-ID: CVE-2020-9240)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
The vulnerability exists due to a boundary condition within a function in a module. A remote attacker on the local network can send a specially crafted request, trigger out-of-bounds read error and cause a denial of service condition on the system.
4) Out-of-bounds read (CVE-ID: CVE-2020-9238)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
The vulnerability exists due to a boundary condition within a function in a module. A remote attacker on the local network can send a specially crafted request, trigger out-of-bounds read error and cause a denial of service condition on the system.
5) Out-of-bounds read (CVE-ID: CVE-2020-9091)
The vulnerability allows a local attacker to gain access to potentially sensitive information.
The vulnerability exists due to a boundary condition. A local attacker can send a specially crafted request, trigger out-of-bounds read error and read contents of memory on the system.
6) Information disclosure (CVE-ID: CVE-2020-9110)
The vulnerability allows a local attacker to gain access to potentially sensitive information.
The vulnerability exists due to excessive data output by the application. A local attacker can gain unauthorized access to sensitive information on the system.
7) Permissions, Privileges, and Access Controls (CVE-ID: CVE-2020-9112)
The vulnerability allows a local attacker to escalate privileges on the system.
The vulnerability exists due to application does not properly impose security restrictions on some of the business functions of the device. A local attacker can access the protecting information, resulting in the elevation of the privilege.
