Description
This security bulletin contains information about 3 secuirty vulnerabilities.
1) NULL pointer dereference (CVE-ID: CVE-2020-27279)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
The vulnerability exists due to a NULL pointer dereference error in the protocol converter. A remote attacker can pass specially crafted packet to the application and perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
2) Improper Authentication (CVE-ID: CVE-2020-27285)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to bypass authentication process.
The vulnerability exists due to an error in when processing authentication requests within the default configuration. A remote attacker can bypass authentication process to read and modify the database.
3) Improper Resource Shutdown or Release (CVE-ID: CVE-2020-27283)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to gain access to sensitive information on the system.
The vulnerability exists due to improper resource shutdown or release. A remote attacker on the local network can send a specially crafted message and leak arbitrary memory locations.
