Description
This security bulletin contains information about 2 secuirty vulnerabilities.
1) Incorrect default permissions (CVE-ID: CVE-2020-8908)
The vulnerability allows a local user to escalate privileges on the system.
The vulnerability exists due to incorrect default permissions for files located in the temporary directory set by the Guava com.google.common.io.Files.createTempDir(). A local user with access to the system can view contents of files and directories or modify them.
2) Improper input validation (CVE-ID: CVE-2020-27218)
The vulnerability allows a remote non-authenticated attacker to manipulate or delete data.
The vulnerability exists due to improper input validation within the SC Admin server (Eclipse Jetty) component in Oracle Communications Converged Application Server - Service Controller. A remote non-authenticated attacker can exploit this vulnerability to manipulate or delete data.
