Description

This security bulletin contains information about 5 secuirty vulnerabilities.

1) Out-of-bounds write (CVE-ID: CVE-2021-22647)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to compromise vulnerable system.

The vulnerability exists due to a boundary error when processing project files. A remote attacker can trigger out-of-bounds write and execute arbitrary code on the target system.

2) Out-of-bounds Write (CVE-ID: CVE-2021-22643)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to compromise vulnerable system.

The vulnerability exists due to a boundary error when processing project files. A remote attacker can trigger out-of-bounds write and execute arbitrary code on the target system.

3) Insufficient UI Warning of Dangerous Operations (CVE-ID: CVE-2021-22645)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to compromise the target system.

The vulnerability exists due to the .bip documents display a "load" command. A remote attacker can execute .dll entry point without sufficient UI warning.

4) Untrusted Pointer Dereference (CVE-ID: CVE-2021-22649)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on the system.

The vulnerability exists due to a NULL pointer dereference error when processing project files. A remote attacker can pass specially crafted data to the application and execute arbitrary code on the target system.

5) Path traversal (CVE-ID: CVE-2021-22651)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform directory traversal attacks.

The vulnerability exists due to input validation error when processing directory traversal sequences. A remote attacker can send a specially crafted HTTP request and store arbitrary scripts into automatic startup folders.
