Description
This security bulletin contains information about 3 secuirty vulnerabilities.
1) OS Command Injection (CVE-ID: CVE-2021-20859)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary shell commands on the target system.
The vulnerability exists due to improper input validation. A remote authenticated attacker on the local network can pass specially crafted data to the application and execute arbitrary OS commands on the target system.
Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may result in complete compromise of vulnerable system.
2) Cross-site request forgery (CVE-ID: CVE-2021-20860)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform cross-site request forgery attacks.
The vulnerability exists due to insufficient validation of the HTTP request origin. A remote attacker can trick the victim to visit a specially crafted web page and perform arbitrary actions on behalf of the victim on the vulnerable website.
3) Improper access control (CVE-ID: CVE-2021-20861)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to gain unauthorized access to otherwise restricted functionality.
The vulnerability exists due to improper access restrictions in the management screen. A remote attacker on the local network can bypass implemented security restrictions and gain unauthorized access to the application.
