Description
This security bulletin contains information about 4 secuirty vulnerabilities.
1) PHP file inclusion (CVE-ID: CVE-2021-45898)
The vulnerability allows a remote user to include and execute arbitrary PHP files on the server.
The vulnerability exists due to incorrect input validation when including PHP files. A remote user can send a specially crafted HTTP request to the affected application, include and execute arbitrary PHP code on the system with privileges of the web server.
2) Deserialization of Untrusted Data (CVE-ID: CVE-2021-45899)
The vulnerability allows a remote user to execute arbitrary code on the target system.
The vulnerability exists due to insecure input validation when processing PHAR archives. A remote user can pass specially crafted file to the application and execute arbitrary code on the target system.
Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may result in complete compromise of vulnerable system.
3) Code Injection (CVE-ID: CVE-2021-45897)
The vulnerability allows a remote user to execute arbitrary code on the target system.
The vulnerability exists due to improper input validation within the Email template functionality. A remote user can pass a specially crafted file to the application and execute arbitrary code on the target system.
Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may result in complete compromise of vulnerable system.
4) SQL injection (CVE-ID: N/A)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary SQL queries in database.
The vulnerability exists due to insufficient sanitization of user-supplied data. A remote attacker can send a specially crafted request to the affected application and execute arbitrary SQL commands within the application database.
Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may allow a remote attacker to read, delete, modify data in database and gain complete control over the affected application.
