Description

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to gain access to potentially sensitive information.

The vulnerability exists due to user credentials are stored in plaintext in the database. A remote user on the local network can gain access to credentials and impersonate other users.

Mitigation

Follow vendor's instructions to enable encryption for user passwords.
