Description
This security bulletin contains information about 3 secuirty vulnerabilities.
1) Buffer overflow (CVE-ID: CVE-2022-38105)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to gain access to potentially sensitive information.
The vulnerability exists due to a boundary error in the cm_processREQ_NC opcode. A remote attacker can trigger memory corruption and gain unauthorized access to sensitive information on the system.
2) Out-of-bounds read (CVE-ID: CVE-2022-38393)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
The vulnerability exists due to a boundary condition in the cfg_server cm_processConnDiagPktList opcode. A remote attacker can trigger out-of-bounds read error and cause a denial of service condition on the system.
3) Use of a Key Past its Expiration Date (CVE-ID: CVE-2022-35401)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to bypass authentication process.
The vulnerability exists due to authentication bypass issue in the get_IFTTTTtoken.cgi functionality. A remote attacker can send specially crafted HTTP requests and gain full administrative access to the device.
