Description
This security bulletin contains information about 2 secuirty vulnerabilities.
1) Input validation error (CVE-ID: CVE-2022-47515)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
The vulnerability exists due to insufficient validation of user-supplied input. A remote attacker can send a long message in a TCP request to the server and perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
2) Reachable Assertion (CVE-ID: CVE-2022-47516)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
The vulnerability exists due to a reachable assertion within libsofia-sip-ua/tport/tport.c. A remote attacker can send a specially crafted UDP request to the server and perform a denial of service attack.
Remediation
Install update from vendor's website.
