Description

This security bulletin contains information about 7 secuirty vulnerabilities.

1) Unprotected storage of credentials (CVE-ID: CVE-2023-28713)

The vulnerability allows a local user to gain access to other users' credentials.

The vulnerability exists due to application stored credentials in plain text in a configuration file on the system. A local user can view contents of the configuration file and gain access to passwords for 3rd party integration.

2) Incorrect permission assignment for critical resource (CVE-ID: CVE-2023-28399)

The vulnerability allows a local user to compromise the target system.

The vulnerability exists due to incorrect permission assignment for critical resource within the ACL (Access Control List). A local user can gain elevated privileges on the system.

3) Improper access control (CVE-ID: CVE-2023-28657)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to gain unauthorized access to otherwise restricted functionality.

The vulnerability exists due to improper access restrictions. A remote user can bypass implemented security restrictions and gain unauthorized access to the application.

4) Cross-site scripting (CVE-ID: CVE-2023-28651)

The disclosed vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform cross-site scripting (XSS) attacks.

The vulnerability exists due to insufficient sanitization of user-supplied data. A remote user can trick the victim to follow a specially crafted link and execute arbitrary HTML and script code in user's browser in context of vulnerable website.

Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may allow a remote attacker to steal potentially sensitive information, change appearance of the web page, perform phishing and drive-by-download attacks.

5) Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) (CVE-ID: CVE-2023-28824)

The disclosed vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform SSRF attacks.

The vulnerability exists due to insufficient validation of user-supplied input. A remote user can send a specially crafted HTTP request and trick the application to initiate requests to arbitrary systems.

Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may allow a remote attacker gain access to sensitive data, located in the local network or send malicious requests to other servers from the vulnerable system.

6) SQL injection (CVE-ID: CVE-2023-29154)

The vulnerability allows a remote user to execute arbitrary SQL queries in database.

The vulnerability exists due to insufficient sanitization of user-supplied data. A remote administrator can send a specially crafted request to the affected application and execute arbitrary SQL commands within the application database.

Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may allow a remote attacker to read, delete, modify data in database and gain complete control over the affected application.

7) Improper control of interaction frequency (CVE-ID: CVE-2023-2758)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to compromise the target system.

The vulnerability exists due to improper control of interaction frequency. A remote attacker can cause the condition where a user of the product becomes unable to login.
