SB2023080904 - Multiple vulnerabilities in SAP Commerce

Description

This security bulletin contains information about 2 secuirty vulnerabilities.

1) Information disclosure (CVE-ID: CVE-2023-37486)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to gain access to potentially sensitive information.

The vulnerability exists due to excessive data output by the OCC API. A remote attacker can gain unauthorized access to sensitive information on the system.

2) Weak password requirements (CVE-ID: CVE-2023-39439)

The vulnerability allows an attacker to perform a brute-force attack.

The vulnerability exists due to application accepts empty passwords. An attacker can trick the victim into setting an empty password for their account and gain unauthorized access to the application.
