SB20231017151 - Anolis OS update for tracker-miners

Description

This security bulletin contains information about 2 secuirty vulnerabilities.

1) Out-of-bounds write (CVE-ID: CVE-2023-43641)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to compromise vulnerable system.

The vulnerability exists due to a boundary error when parsing CUE sheets. A remote attacker can create a specially crafted file, trick the victim into downloading it, trigger an out-of-bounds write and execute arbitrary code on the target system.

2) Security features bypass (CVE-ID: CVE-2023-5557)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to bypass implemented security restrictions.

The vulnerability exists due to improperly imposed security restrictions. A malicious file can execute code outside the sandbox if the tracker-extract process has first been compromised by a separate vulnerability.
