Description

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary shell commands on the target system.

The vulnerability exists due to improper input validation in the "VirusEvent" feature. A remote unauthenticated attacker can pass specially crafted data to the application and execute arbitrary OS commands on the target system.

Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may result in complete compromise of vulnerable system.

Description

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

The vulnerability exists due to a boundary error within the OLE2 file format parser. A remote attacker can pass specially crafted data to the application, trigger a heap-based buffer overflow and perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
