Description
This security bulletin contains information about 3 secuirty vulnerabilities.
1) Permissions, Privileges, and Access Controls (CVE-ID: CVE-2024-35287)
The vulnerability allows a local administrator to escalate privileges on the system.
The vulnerability exists due to application does not properly impose security restrictions in the NuPoint Unified Messaging (NPM) component, which leads to security restrictions bypass and privilege escalation.
2) Command Injection (CVE-ID: CVE-2024-41714)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary commands on the target system.
The vulnerability exists due to improper input validation in the MiCollab Client Server. A remote user can pass specially crafted data to the application and execute arbitrary commands on the target system.
Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may result in complete compromise of vulnerable system.
3) Command Injection (CVE-ID: CVE-2024-41712)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary commands on the target system.
The vulnerability exists due to improper input validation in the Web Conferencing component. A remote user can pass specially crafted data to the application and execute arbitrary commands on the target system.
