Description

The vulnerability allows a remote user to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

The vulnerability exists due to improper management of internal resources within the application when reading PEM data. A remote user who can modify PEM data that the cert-manager reads can force the application to use large amounts of CPU in the cert-manager controller pod and perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
