1) Resource exhaustion

EUVDB-ID: #VU101868

Risk: Medium

CVSSv4.0: 6.6 [CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:L/AT:N/PR:N/UI:N/VC:N/VI:N/VA:H/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N/E:U/U:Green]

CVE-ID: CVE-2024-45338

CWE-ID: CWE-400 - Resource exhaustion

Exploit availability: No

Description

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

The vulnerability exists due to application does not properly control consumption of internal resources in several Parse functions. A remote attacker can pass specially crafted input to the application and perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

Mitigation

Install updates from vendor's website.

Vulnerable software versions

Red Hat Advanced Cluster Security for Kubernetes: before 4.6.2

Q & A

Can this vulnerability be exploited remotely?

Yes. This vulnerability can be exploited by a remote non-authenticated attacker via the Internet.

Is there known malware, which exploits this vulnerability?

No. We are not aware of malware exploiting this vulnerability.

2) Improper neutralization of argument delimiters in a command

EUVDB-ID: #VU103421

Risk: Low

CVSSv4.0: 0.5 [CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:L/AT:P/PR:N/UI:A/VC:L/VI:N/VA:N/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N/E:U/U:Clear]

CVE-ID: CVE-2025-21613

CWE-ID: CWE-88 - Argument Injection or Modification

Exploit availability: No

Description

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to gain access to sensitive information.

The vulnerability exists due to improper input validation when handling URL field in arguments passed to the git-upload-pack command. A remote attacker can trick the victim into passing a specially crafted URL as a flag to the affected command and manipulate arguments for the git-upload-pack command, which can result in information disclosure.

Mitigation

Install updates from vendor's website.

Vulnerable software versions

Red Hat Advanced Cluster Security for Kubernetes: before 4.6.2

Is there known malware, which exploits this vulnerability?

No. We are not aware of malware exploiting this vulnerability.

3) Resource exhaustion

EUVDB-ID: #VU103422

Risk: Low

CVSSv4.0: 0.5 [CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:L/AT:P/PR:N/UI:A/VC:N/VI:N/VA:L/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N/E:U/U:Clear]

CVE-ID: CVE-2025-21614

CWE-ID: CWE-400 - Resource exhaustion

Exploit availability: No

Description

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

The vulnerability exists due to application does not properly control consumption of internal resources when handling responses from a malicious Git server. A remote attacker can trick the victim into connecting to a malicious Git server and perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

Mitigation

Install updates from vendor's website.

Vulnerable software versions

Red Hat Advanced Cluster Security for Kubernetes: before 4.6.2

No. We are not aware of malware exploiting this vulnerability.

4) Out-of-bounds write

EUVDB-ID: #VU19178

Risk: High

CVSSv4.0: 8.1 [CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:L/AT:N/PR:N/UI:N/VC:H/VI:H/VA:H/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N/E:U/U:Amber]

CVE-ID: CVE-2019-12900

CWE-ID: CWE-787 - Out-of-bounds write

Exploit availability: No

Description

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on the target system.
The vulnerability exists due to a boundary error within the BZ2_decompress() function in decompress.c. A remote attacker can create a specially crafted archive, trick the victim into opening it using the affected library, trigger out-of-bounds write and execute arbitrary code on the target system.

Mitigation

Install updates from vendor's website.

Vulnerable software versions

Red Hat Advanced Cluster Security for Kubernetes: before 4.6.2

No. We are not aware of malware exploiting this vulnerability.

5) Use of Uninitialized Variable

EUVDB-ID: #VU102730

Risk: Medium

CVSSv4.0: 6.6 [CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:L/AT:N/PR:N/UI:N/VC:H/VI:N/VA:N/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N/E:U/U:Green]

CVE-ID: CVE-2024-12085

CWE-ID: CWE-457 - Use of Uninitialized Variable

Exploit availability: No

Description

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to gain access to sensitive information.
