Description

The vulnerability allows a local user to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

The vulnerability exists due to improper error handling within the btrfs_submit_data_bio() and bio_endio() functions in fs/btrfs/inode.c, within the btrfs_submit_compressed_read() and kfree() functions in fs/btrfs/compression.c. A local user can perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
