EUVDB-ID: #VU107450
Risk: Medium
CVSSv4.0: 1.3 [CVSS:4.0/AV:A/AC:L/AT:N/PR:N/UI:N/VC:N/VI:N/VA:L/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N/E:U/U:Green]
CVE-ID: CVE-2025-31354
CWE-ID:
CWE-125 - Out-of-bounds read
Exploit availability: No
DescriptionThe vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denal of service (DoS) attack.
The vulnerability exists due to a boundary condition in the SMTPS notification service. A remote attacker on the local network can use an EC certificate with crafted F2m parameters, trigger an out-of-bounds read error and cause a denial of service condition on the system.
MitigationInstall updates from vendor's website.
Vulnerable software versionsPowerSYSTEM Center: 2020 5.24
