Description

The vulnerability allows a local user to escalate privileges on the system.

The vulnerability exists due to application does not properly impose security restrictions. A local unprivileged user can execute arbitrary code with root privileges.

Note, the vulnerability affects only Debian package component of Taegis Endpoint Agent (Linux). Redhat-based Linux systems using RPM packages are not affected.

Mitigation
Install updates from vendor's website.
