Description
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
The vulnerability exists due to improper length validation of a field in an IPv6 DNS packet. A remote attacker can send a specially crafted DNS query over IPv6 and perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
