Published: June 25, 2020

Gnome Development Team
Description
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to gain access to potentially sensitive information.
The vulnerability exists due to a boundary condition when processing NTLM messages in soup_ntlm_parse_challenge() function in soup-auth-ntlm.c. A remote attacker can send a specially crafted NTLM message to the application, trigger a heap-based buffer over-read and read sensitive data from system memory.
