Description

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to bypass implemented security restrictions.

The vulnerability exists due to Firefox passes resource handles across processes. A remote attacker can create a specially crafted web page that can confuse the higher privileged processes to interact with handles that the unprivileged process should not have access to.

The vulnerability affects Firefox installation on Windows and macOS only.
