Description

The vulnerability allows a remote user to gain access to sensitive information.

The vulnerability exists due to the way password change is handled within IBM DataPower Gateway. If a user password is changed, IBM DataPower Gateway does not immediately invalidate existing active sessions that were created with the old password. As a result, session created using a compromised password could continue to operate after the password has been changed until the session expires.

Mitigation
Install updates from vendor's website.
