Description
This security bulletin contains information about 3 secuirty vulnerabilities.
1) Resource management error (CVE-ID: CVE-2023-43622)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
The vulnerability exists due to improper management of internal resources within the server when processing HTTP/2 connections with window size of 0. A remote attacker can exhaust available workers on the server and perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
2) Code Injection (CVE-ID: CVE-2023-43655)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on the target system.
The vulnerability exists due to improper access restrictions. A remote attacker can send a specially crafted request to the server with published composer.phar and execute arbitrary code on the target system.
Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may result in complete compromise of vulnerable system but requires that "register_argc_argv" option is enabled in php.ini.
3) Resource management error (CVE-ID: CVE-2023-45802)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
The vulnerability exists due to improper management of internal resources within the server when handling HTTP/2 requests. A remote attacker can send multiple requests to the server and perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
