Description

The vulnerability allows a local user to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

The vulnerability exists due to an out-of-bounds read error within the con_font_set() and con_font_default() functions in drivers/tty/vt/vt.c. A local user can perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
