Description

The vulnerability allows an attacker to gain full access to vulnerable system.

The vulnerability exists due to the CP651 HMI component implements hidden administrative accounts that are used during the provisioning phase of the HMI interface. An unauthenticated attacker can prevent legitimate access to an affected system node, take control of it, or insert and run arbitrary code in an affected system.

Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may result in complete compromise of vulnerable system.
