Description

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

The vulnerability exists due to improper handling of a Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) request for specific Object Identifiers (OIDs) by the Intermediate System–to–Intermediate System (IS–IS) process. A remote authenticated attacker can send a specially crafted SNMP request and cause a denial of service condition in the IS–IS process.
