Description
The vulnerability allows a local authenticated attacker to execute arbitrary code.

The weakness exists in the CLI of the Cisco Prime Network Gateway due to improper handling of modified backup configuration files. A local attacker can modifying certain components within the backup system files and execute arbitrary code with root privileges.

Successful exploitation of the vulnerability may result in system compromise.

Mitigation
Update to version 4.3(2).
