Description

The vulnerability allows a local user to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

The vulnerability exists due to an off-by-one error within the tcpm_pd_set() function in drivers/usb/typec/tcpm/tcpm.c. A local user can perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
