Description

The vulnerability allows a local user to execute arbitrary code.

The vulnerability exists due to memory corruption error within the pit_ioport_read() function in arch/x86/kvm/i8254.c. A local user can execute arbitrary code.

Mitigation
Install update from vendor's repository.
