Description

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to cause DoS condition on the target system.

The weakness exists in ofx_proc_file in ofx_preproc.cpp due to a boundary error. A remote attacker can trick the victim into opening a specially crafted file, as demonstrated by an ofxdump call, trigger heap-based buffer over-read and cause the service to crash.
