Description
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to conduct man-in-the-middle attack on the target system.

The weakness exists due to code handling HTTP redirects in the HTTP transport method doesn't properly sanitize fields transmitted over the wire. A remote attacker can use man-in-the-middle attack techniques to inject malicious content in the HTTP connection and execute arbitrary code with root privileges.

Successful exploitation of the vulnerability may result in system compromise.

Mitigation
Update to version 1.4.9.
